Earth Day / Photography 20 -Soul (some)

Earth Day was on Sunday April 22nd and as I do every year, I spend the day outside, or in case of this year, at Wascana park. I took lots of photos, but I've only uploaded a few of them, seeing as how the photos I took don't relate to any project. I'm hoping that some of the photos in this Earth Day bunch can be used as some soul photos. Mainly the ones of my brother, but some of my dog where she looks very serious and philosophical.
Ginger looking tired and pondering of something. Maybe she's had an epiphany of something, perhaps she's reconsidering the events that led her to bringing inside a dead bird a few months ago.

This one is not a Soul photo, but simply one of my Earth Day photos that I thought I would include. I made it into an antique style on Iphoto. I just thought I'd include it.

Another Earth Day photo, kind of soul like...perhaps.

My brother Jordan. These are some soul photos, once again I did this photo in an antique style, seeing as how my brother loves old things.

Another soul photo, in black and white.
Earth Day shot, but I thought it fit in with the soul theme. It's very bright and one could argue over some inspirational quote that might fit in with this and the next photo.

My favourite of my Earth Day photos ^

Another Earth Day photo, not very soul like however. I just thought I'd include some Earth Day photos.

Ginger looking as if she just saw a squirrel.

Surly soul photos can be happy. The soul is filled with joy and wonder, even more so in animals than in humans. Humans have such big minds and we get caught up in our lives and society. But dogs could care less about politics or if it rains or snows. They simply love life and are happy if the people around them are happy. I truly believe dogs are man's best friend. I'm not much of a cat person, but I do like cats....but not nearly as much as dogs.

Kind of soul like, shadowed tree with sunlight shimmering through the ragged branches. Perhaps if it was black and white it would look more dark or deep in soul, but I think the blue of the sky makes the photo seem not as depressing. Again, I'm sure that soul can be bright instead of always dark.
Me, looking very happy that it's Earth Day. I'm trying to remember how I smiled in this photo, because I've always had such difficulty smiling well. Next to all my school photos are bad because I can't smile well when someone tells me to. If only i can remember how I smiled like this for picture day next year. Again, soul can be happy at times. My brother took this photo.

One of the photos I took when me and my brother drove to Wascana for the day. As the weather gets better, I hope to do this more, but Jordan is starting work soon and will be gone most days. This black and white photo makes a great soul photo despite not having people in it.

Soul photo of Jordan, gazing over the water. I did this both as a horizontal photo......

.......and as a vertical photo

The stillness of the water and the wavy reflection makes this photo look very appealing and soft.

Maybe this photo would look better if it was in black and white. I like the person in the far left corner, the fact that he's small and looking over at the legislature makes this photo seem very soul like and philosophical. Perhaps political as well, depending on what one thinks the man is thinking about.

One of my favourite Earth Day photos, not very soul like though.
